Spiritual Community in the 21st Century
with Kim Belew

In this workshop we will discuss what a spiritual community is and look boldly at where you feel your community is within those ideals.

We will breakdown old patterns while exploring new ideas and ways of being as a community post pandemic and 24 years into a new century. 

We will do a healing ceremony together while coming up with new and innovative ways to begin leading your community into new ways of growing together.

 Whether it’s sitting with her one on one as she listens to you share your truths.  Or are in the audience of a concert, speaking event or TedX talk, you feel the same captivating presence with Kim. 

 In spring of 2023 Kim became the spiritual leader of New Thought Unity of Cincinnati and is currently taking classes to become a unity minister

 Kim is an award winning musician and songwriter and is currently working on recording her third album while also writing a musical of her life and this album.

Kim has spent the last 20 years writing music and giving inspirational talks and workshops.  

Kim has had many profound, life altering moments.  The most notable happened when she was faced with the choice of continuing to live her life in compartments, weighed down by the secrets of childhood abuse, unhealed trauma and living out patterns that left her with feeling no sense of purpose or meaning.  

Through her own continued healing journey Kim also found a way to give voice to being sex trafficked as a child and as a result gave a TedX talk in October of 2021.  Kim is passionate about sharing her story globally to bring more awareness and advocacy to help eradicate human trafficking.  

Working with spiritual communities, hospitals, counseling centers, first responders and at risk youth, Kim brings a unique, compassionate and empowering approach to creating a space for others to have self discovery, healing, finding their voice, authentic expression and purpose.

Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity published The 12 Powers of Man in 1930.  Fillmore used each of Jesus’ 12 disciples as examples of a power as well as associated each power with an energy center in the body.  Since that time other attributes, such as colors, have been used with each power. 

In this class we will use the book 12 Powers in You to explore each power and ways of incorporating it into our daily lives.

“The twelve powers are within you.

You will also discover that each of your Twelve Powers externalizes and expresses in your physical body as a particular organ or system.  In other words, your physical body has a cosmic blueprint.  Your Twelve Powers and your physical body are not separate, disconnected aspects of your whole being.  Rather, they are like two sides of one coin.  For example, your power of love flows through and expresses as your heart and circulatory system.
